Amanda Dibando Awanjo is a Cameroonian American researcher, writer, and illustrator currently based in Connecticut. She earned a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh in Critical Cultural Studies in English and Children’s Literature, and currently works as the project manager of the Black Bibliography Project. She largely spends her time thinking, drawing, and dreaming. Her work and research has been published in The Rumpus, The Black Joy Project, Fork Apple Press, The Edinburgh History of Children’s Periodicals, and Critical Quarterly.
