CB Anderson’s work has appeared in The Iowa Review, Narrative, North American Review, Fugue, Crazyhorse, and others. The New Yorker included her book Home Now (2019) in “Briefly Noted,” and her collection, River Talk, was a Kirkus Reviews Best Books of 2014. Her chapbook Blue Lion Days received the 2023 Jeanne Leiby Memorial Award and is forthcoming in 2024. Other awards include the 2022 Winning Writers Tom Howard fiction prize and 2nd place in the Zoetrope: All-Story Contest. Anderson lives in Maine and has taught at venues including Boston University and WritingWorkshops.com. She loves ocean swimming, bourbon, and karaoke—generally in that order.
