Christine Vines is a writer from Wichita, KS. Her fiction and humor writing have appeared in One Story, BOMB, Witness, The Rumpus, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, The Chicago Tribune, Book of the Month Club’s Volume 0, and elsewhere. Her work has been supported by the Cecilia Joyce Johnson Award for the Short Story from the Key West Literary Seminar, the Nelson Algren Awards, the Steinbeck Center, the Carson McCullers Center, the Hambidge Center, the Catwalk Institute, Write On Door Country, and the Joshua Tree Highlands Artist Residency, among other places.
