Flávia Monteiro

Flávia Monteiro is a Brazilian writer based in Miami, FL. If she could choose to be any insect, she’d be a housefly: dirty, yes, but stingless. Her writing has appeared in Shenandoah, Honey Literary, HAD, and elsewhere. She’s a 2025 Periplus fellow and a workshop junkie. You can sometimes find her instagramming @flavia_monteiro.
