Kalpana Narayanan is the recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Fiction, a Pushcart Prize, Boston Review’s Aura Estrada Short Story Prize, residencies from Yaddo and The Hambidge Center, and grants from Idea Capital, the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs in Atlanta, and Columbia University. She has been published in Granta, The Millions, Boston Review, and elsewhere. She lives in Atlanta.
