Logan Hoffman-Smith is a queer trans Chinese American Adoptee currently based in Iowa City. An MFA candidate at the University of Iowa and a Kundiman Fiction Fellow, they enjoy bouldering, working odd jobs, and picking up unknown neighborhood cats. This is their first essay publication.
