Meena Venkataramanan is a book critic, journalist, and essayist who writes about identity, culture, and Asian American communities. Her work has been published in The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, and The Boston Globe, among other outlets. She earned an A.B. in English from Harvard University and an M.Phil. in English from the University of Cambridge, where she studied as a Gates Cambridge Scholar. She is currently a doctoral student in English at Brown University, where her research focuses on the intersection of contemporary Asian and Black diaspora literature.
