Paulette Perhach’s work has appeared in the New York Times, Vox, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Hobart, and Vice. Her essay “A Story of a Fuck Off Fund” is featured in The Future is Feminist alongside works by Roxane Gay, Mindy Kaling, and others. Her book, Welcome to the Writer’s Life, was named one of Poets & Writers’ Best Books for Writers. She founded The Writer’s Mission Control Center, an online platform that helps writers cut admin time in half. Paulette coaches writers through The Finishing School for Writers, leads daily writing sessions through A Very Important Meeting, and blogs at welcometothewriterslife.com. She’s completed fellowships with Hugo House and Jack Straw, and shared a Washington State Book Award as a contributor to Alone Together: Love, Grief, and Comfort in the Time of Covid-19. She’s working on a financial memoir and a novel, and can currently be found in New York.
