Sebastian J. Langdell is a writer of fiction and nonfiction. He is currently at work on his third book, Dante in America. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in The New York Times, The LA Review of Books, Witness, the Vassar Review, and the Oxford History of Poetry in English, among other venues. He is the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Oxford University, the Michener Foundation, and the Huntington Library. He grew up between London and Los Angeles, and now lives in Austin, Texas.
