Monique Laban is a writer from New York. Her work has appeared in The Offing, Aquifer: The Florida Review Online, Clarkesworld, and elsewhere. She has received support from the Center for Fiction, Hedgebrook, the Sewanee Writers' Conference, the Kenyon Review Writers' Workshop, the Tin House Summer Workshop, Viable Paradise, and VONA. She is currently writing a novel.
