About the Author

Kirsten Elizabeth is a writer, artist, and designer, originally from Cape Cod. They are interested in the natural and human history of Cape Cod, the Elizabeth Islands, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket, which they incorporate in their art. They are the author of the comics Penikese, Nomans Land, and Smash Nostalgia. Kirsten contributes comics regularly to the Boston Globe and distributes their own comics on their website, killdeercomix.com. Follow them on Instagram: @killdeer_comix.
