Hal Schrieve is an author, librarian and cartoonist. Hir first novel Out Of Salem was longlisted for the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature in 2019. Hir comic Vivian’s Ghost was a finalist for the Cartoonist Studio Prize for Best Webcomic in 2023.
