Amy X Wang

Amy X Wang is a writer at The New York Times Magazine. She is interested in money, shame, and the lengths people will go to in order to escape themselves. Her nonfiction has also appeared in publications including Rolling Stone, Slate, The Atlantic, and The Economist; her fiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, supported by a residency at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and published in Joyland, Glimmer Train, and The Baffler.
