Annesha Mitha is a graduate of the Helen Zell Writers’ Program at the University of Michigan. Her fiction, nonfiction, and poetry has been published in McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, American Short Fiction, Catapult, The Margins, Northwest Review, and The Offing. “The Waiting Room” is from her collection-in-progress. She is also working on a novel. She lives in Chicago with a hound named Flower.
