Emily Berge

Emily Berge was raised in southern Iowa on thunderstorms and Friday night football games. A writer and filmmaker based in the Hudson Valley, Emily and her partner Spencer Thielmann have had their work featured on Short of the Week, Palm Springs Shortfest, and NewFest, as well as being screened at the British Film Institute. Emily attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, graduating with a degree in Film & Television with a focus in Screenwriting. Emily has previously worked in publishing in marketing and creative development. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Fiction at the Bennington Writing Seminars.
