Heather Thompson-Brenner is a fiction writer in Somerville, Massachusetts. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Ploughshares, North Dakota Quarterly, Fiction On The Web, and elsewhere. She attended the MFA program for Creative Writing at Boston University and is revising her debut novel, The Book of Revelation(s), about a sex-crazed teenager, her anxiety-ridden mother, and a Christian FBI informant, living together in a commune in 1981. Dr. Thompson-Brenner works as a clinical psychologist in Cambridge and spends her spare time in the Berkshire Mountains. She has more children and dachshunds than you might expect. A passionate but undiscriminating sports fan, a special place in her heart will always be saved for Ultimate Frisbee.
