Javier Zamora was born in El Salvador and migrated to the US when he was nine. He holds fellowships from the Lannan Foundation, Poetry Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, among others, and is a Radcliffe Fellow at Harvard University. His first book Unaccompanied was published by Copper Canyon Press in September 2017.
