Jayda Skidmore is a queer, neurodivergent, disabled author who explores trauma, sexuality, and social issues in her writing. In January 2025, she was awarded her MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts in fiction and creative nonfiction writing. She is a reader and author interviewer for Hunger Mountain Review, received an Affinity Group Fellowship from VCFA in 2023, and received a fellowship with the Center for Arts and Social Justice for the year 2025. Jayda hails from Georgia and lives in Florida, but her heart resides in the mountains.
