Her essays are forthcoming in New England Review and No Tokens, and her music criticism has appeared recently in Salon, No Depression, and Consequence. Her work has been supported by fellowships from MacDowell, Bread Loaf, Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, and other organizations. Originally from St. Louis, she lives and teaches in Baltimore.
