Kim Samek is a half-Thai comedy writer and television executive producer with TV credits including MTV’s Catfish, PBS’ WordGirl, and Issa Rae’s Sweet Life: Los Angeles for HBO Max. She studied creative writing at Stanford University and, in a previous life, worked for Sony Music. Her short fiction appears or is forthcoming in Catapult, Guernica, Ecotone, Southern Humanities Review, Gulf Coast, Electric Literature, swamp pink, North American Review, and The Threepenny Review.
