Kyla D. Walker is a Turkish and Creole fiction writer. She was selected as a 2023 Tin House Summer Scholar and is at work on a novel set in the cinemas of Istanbul and New York throughout the ’90s. Currently, she is an MFA candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Notre Dame, an editorial intern at Electric Literature, and a 2023 Periplus Collective Fellow.
