Ladane Nasseri

Ladane Nasseri is a journalist and writer. A former Middle East correspondent for Bloomberg News where she also led the Iran coverage, Ladane has reported for a decade and a half from Tehran, Dubai, and Beirut. Her work has appeared in a host of media outlets and literary magazines including The New York Times, LA Times, Businessweek, The Nation, Libération (France) and McSweeney’s. Ladane was a regular commentator on Bloomberg TV and has moderated panels on current affairs and literature for the Atlantic Council, Johns Hopkins University, Columbia Global Centers, the Emirates Literature Festival and elsewhere. She holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and an MFA in literary nonfiction from The New School. Ladane is the recipient of a MacDowell fellowship and was the 2021 Nonfiction Fellow for Emerging Writers at Lighthouse Writers Workshop, where she now teaches.
