Ladane Nasseri is a journalist and writer. She led Iran coverage for Bloomberg News and was a Middle East correspondent for the company, reporting from Tehran, Beirut, Dubai and elsewhere. Ladane’s writing has also appeared in The New York Times, Businessweek, Newsweek, U.K.’s Telegraph, France’s Liberation, McSweeney’s and Catapult magazine. Ladane was selected in 2021 as the Nonfiction Fellow for Emerging Writers at the Lighthouse Writers Workshop in Denver where she now teaches. Her writing has also received support from The New York State Summer Writers Institute and Writing by Writers.
