Melissa Yancy is the author of Dog Years (Univ. of Pittsburgh Press, 2016). Her work has appeared in Glimmer Train, One Story, Prairie Schooner, Zyzzyva, The Missouri Review, and elsewhere. Dog Years was selected by Richard Russo as winner of the 2016 Drue Heinz Literature Prize. She is the recipient of a 2016 NEA Literature Fellowship.
