Michelle Webster-Hein’s debut novel Out of Esau is out from Counterpoint Press. Her work has been recognized in the Best American series, nominated four times for a Pushcart Prize, and published in Midwestern Gothic, Ruminate Magazine, River Teeth, Lit Hub, and Modern Farmer, among other places. She and her family work a small homestead in the south Michigan countryside, where she was born and raised.
