Neela Vaswani

Neela Vaswani is an author of fiction and nonfiction books for adults (You Have Given Me a Country; Where the Long Grass Bends) and children (This is My Eye; Same Sun Here). She has been the recipient of the American Book Award, a PEN/O.Henry Prize, the ForeWord Book of the Year Gold Medal, and a Grammy and Audies for narration. She has taught as a writer-in-residence throughout the United States and India and currently teaches at the Naslund-Mann Graduate School of Writing. She lives with her family in NYC. neelavaswani.com
