ReenaShah is a writer, editor, and teacher. She had received fellowships and residencies from the Millay Colony for the Arts, Tin House, the Sustainable Arts Foundation, Cuttyhunk Island Residency, and the Fulbright Foundation. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Midnight Breakfast, WaxwingMagazine, Joyland, BBC, TheAmerican Prospect, National Geographic, The Guardian, Third Coast, and Writer’s Digest, among others. For many years she was a kathak dancer and public school teacher in New York and India. She is currently at work on a novel-in-stories and lives in Monteverde, Costa Rica.
