Richard Scott Larson is a 2020 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Nonfiction Literature from the New York Foundation for the Arts. He holds an MFA from New York University, and his creative and critical work has appeared recently in the Los Angeles Review of Books, Chicago Review of Books, Harvard Review, Electric Literature, Joyland, Hobart, Colorado Review, and other venues. His writing has also been listed as Notable in The Best American Essays. A member of the National Book Critics Circle, he currently works for the Expository Writing Program at NYU.
