Samantha Allan is a writer and a cat mom living in Austin, Texas. She received a PhD in English Literature from UT Austin, where she designed classes about the many ways that gender shapes our relationships with memory, beauty, and growing up. She has been published by Lexington Books, the e3w Review of Books, and ROPES Literary Journal. She is currently working on her first book, a dual-strand memoir about her grandmothers.
