He has also written for the New York Times, The Guardian, The Irish Times, and BBC Radio 4. His memoir Did Ye Hear Mammy Died? topped Ireland’s non-fiction charts for seven weeks, and was named Biography of The Year at the 2022 Irish Book Awards.
