It’s a 24 hour internet book party!

Robin Sloan, author of the just-released GLOW IN THE DARK novel Mr. Penumbra’s 24 Hour Bookstore, is hosting a 24 hour live-streaming internet party starting at 9PM tonight! And then, at 7PM on October 4, the party goes offline and IRL at the Center for Fiction (co-hosted by Electric Literature and Farrar, Straus and Giroux). RSVP for the party here; read the story that inspired the novel here.

p.s. The book really glows in the dark! For anyone who ever loved books and glow-in-the-dark wall stickers as a kid, this is a very, very exciting synthesis of fun. Penumbra sez: “Be sure to keep it somewhere sunny during the day today… it charges up, just like Superman.”
