Chaya Bhuvaneswar is a physician, writer and PEN/ Robert W. Bingham Debut Fiction Prize finalist for WHITE DANCING ELEPHANTS: STORIES in 2019, which received the Dzanc Books Prize and was included in Best Books for Kirkus Review 2018 and several other lists. Her work has appeared in Tin House, Narrative, Electric Literature, The Millions, Joyland, Large Hearted Boy, Chattahoochee Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, The Awl, and elsewhere, and was selected for inclusion in Best Small Fictions 2019.
