Lena Valencia’s work has appeared in CRAFT, Joyland, BOMB, and elsewhere. Her fiction has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, and in 2019 she was awarded an Elizabeth George Foundation Grant. She received her MFA in fiction from The New School. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, she now lives in Brooklyn, New York, where she is the managing editor of the literary magazine One Story.
