Marianne Jay Erhardt lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with her family. Her writing appears in Orion, Kenyon Review, Oxford American, Conjunctions, and elsewhere. She is the winner of the 2021 VanderMey Nonfiction Prize by Ruminate Magazine, a 2019-2020 North Carolina Arts Council Fellowship, and a recent Pushcart nomination. Her manuscript, Lucky Bodies, was a finalist for The Journal Non/Fiction Collection Prize. She received her MFA from UW-Madison and teaches writing at Wake Forest University.
