Timi Sanni is a writer, editor, and multidisciplinary artist from Lagos, Nigeria. He is the author of the poetry chapbook The Ordinary Affair of Being Human (Akashic Books, 2025), selected as part of the African Poetry Book Fund New-Generation African Poets box set. A finalist for the 2025 Sillerman First Book Prize for African Poets, he has been awarded the Anita McAndrews Poetry Award, the JAY Lit Prize for Poetry, and his works have appeared in journals and magazines including The Rumpus, Black Warrior Review, and Poet Lore. Timi is the founding editor of Iman Collective, an assistant editor at EPOCH, and a poetry mentor at Sprinng Writers Fellowship.
