David Hartley writes strange and unsettling stories for people who like that kind of thing. He got himself a PhD in Creative Writing from The University of Manchester, and he’s the author of Fauna (Fly on the Wall Press), a collection of weird short tales about animals which was long-listed for the Edge Hill Prize in 2022. He’s currently writer-in-residence for Tartu 2024 in Estonia, but he mostly lives in Manchester, UK.
