Zach Shultz is a freelance writer in New York City. He’s currently working on a book about AIDS and gentrification told through the story of a playwright and historical preservationist who died in the 1990s. In 2019, he was a nonfiction fellow at the Lambda Literary Writers’ Retreat for Emerging LGBTQ Voices.
