Adrian Van Young is the author of two books of fiction, Shadows in Summerland (Open Road Media)and The Man Who Noticed Everything (Black Lawrence Press). His fiction and nonfiction have been published in Electric Literature‘s Recommended Reading, Conjunctions, BOMB, The Believer, Granta,The Baffler, and The New Yorker, among others. His second collection, Midnight Self, is forthcoming from Black Lawrence Press in 2023. He is currently working on a novel about the Jewish story writer Bruno Schulz, and lives in New Orleans with his family.
