Kristopher Jansma is the author of the novels Why We Came to the City and The Unchangeable Spots of Leopards. He is the winner of the Sherwood Anderson Foundation Fiction Award and received an honorable mention for the PEN/Hemingway Award in 2014. He is an Assistant Professor of English and the Director of Creative Writing at SUNY New Paltz College.
